
Apple’s founder Steve Jobs, and former CEO, the driving force behind some of the most revolutionary and popular gadgets and technology in recent history, dies at age 56 after battle with cancer. Steve Jobs wasn’t an inspiration because of his fame. But, for what he did with his life, It was also a big deal to many others. You don’t have to be an Apple fan boy to have Steve Jobs inspire you. Steve Jobs may just be a CEO to some of you but for me as well as many others he was an inspiration. At some point almost everyday a thought runs through my head about becoming someone like Steve. We all knew that he was not doing that well but, I don’t think any of us where expecting this to happen so soon. I first heard the news on Twitter and I didn’t believe it. I actually got mad cause, I thought people where just saying that. Then, I went to Apple’s site. On the home page it displayed a picture of Steve and the years 1955 – 2011.
The deasess of cancer occurs when there is a genetic mutation that causes the cells to grow at a rapid, uncontrollable pace, eventually forming a tumor. There are two types of pancreatic cancer – the more rare endocrine variety that Jobs suffered from and the more common adenocarcinoma, which forms in the pancreas ducts where digestive juices are produced.
