Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Vs. Apple iPad 2

Apple have just introduced their new, second generation iPad, the iPad 2. With this move, the tablet tussle has just tightened further this year. The latest Galaxy Tab comes with a fabulous 10.1 inch display, while the Apple iPad 2 includes a 9.7 inch display. Both weigh the same, that is, 1.3 pounds. But considering the size of the screens, the resolution of both the devices is relatively more or less the same. There is hence not much to compare here.

The Galaxy Tab 10.1 is also powered by a dual-core 1GHz processor. Interestingly, the A4 chip used in the original Apple iPad had been designed by Samsung. The Apple iPad 2 runs iOS 4.3, which makes the browser much faster. Besides, this version of the iPad brings with its enhanced AirPlay and iTunes Home Sharing features. The Apple iPad 2 offers a choice of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB internal memory. Both the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and the iPad 2 come with 2 cameras. The Apple iPad offers 10 hours of battery life. There are no details yet on the battery life of the Galaxy Tab 10.1.
